Our COVID-19 Protocol

We have added some extra measures to minimise the impact of COVID-19 at           Sea Glimpses

We have reviewed our cleaning and safety protocols to help protect you, our staff and ourselves.  This will mean that things are slightly different, which we feel sure you will understand.

We have completed COVID-19 Cleaning and Risk Assessment training and implemented a cleaning programme that makes sure you are safe

Cleaning will take extra time – we now “triple clean”.  Our usual high-level cleaning is enhanced with Peritab, a highly effective disinfectant, and a final ULV fogging process with a virucidal sanitiser.  This means that we will take a little longer for each changeover but our guests’ health is a priority.  To ensure time is available to thoroughly complete our triple clean programme we are asking guests to arrive a little later and depart a little earlier.

We still want you to feel as welcome as ever and enjoy your time here

Some things may be missing to reduce the risk of touch contamination. This means that decorative cushions and throws, ornaments, books, toys, games, etc have been kept to a minimum but we’ll be swapping them after each guest changeover so it will still feel comfortable and homely. 

We’ve transferred our cottage information to a guest login and we’ve added lots of local information, handy for helping you plan your holiday before you arrive.

On arrival…

You’ll have a safe contactless check in - we’ll provide the key so that you can let yourself in without us.  If you do arrive early we won’t be able to let you in Sea Glimpses but you are welcome to park your car on the forecourt.

During your stay…

You will find a supply of cleaning materials, including virucidal disinfectant, hand wash, hand sanitiser, tissues, cloths and disposable gloves for your use.

If you need us for anything, we will be available on the phone to help you any time of day.

If you become ill at Sea Glimpses…

If any of your party show any signs of COVID-19 infection during your stay, please let us know.  The Government advice is to return to your primary residence and self-isolate for a period of 7 days and 14 days for others in your cottage.
